1. Core Philosophy: Zero-Storage
InstantTools.org operates on a "Browser-First" architecture. Unlike traditional file converters, we do not upload your documents to a centralized server for processing. Instead, we utilize WebAssembly (WASM) and client-side JavaScript to perform all operations directly on your machine.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the essential data to provide and secure our service:
- Account Data: If you sign in via Google or Apple, we store your name, email, and profile picture to manage your subscription and usage limits.
- Billing Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card details; we only receive a confirmation of payment and a unique customer ID.
- Rate Limiting: For anonymous users, we hash your IP address to enforce the 10-tool daily limit. This data is reset every 24 hours.
- AI Prompts: Text prompts sent to the Formula AI are proxied to Google Gemini. No spreadsheet data from your files is ever sent.
3. AI Integration (Formula Expert)
When using our Formula AI, your text prompts are sent to our Cloudflare Worker, which acts as a secure proxy to the Google Gemini API. Your spreadsheet data itself is NOT sent; only the natural language description of the formula you wish to create.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google AdSense and other third-party advertising partners to fund our operations. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting your Google Ad Settings or your browser's ad settings.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Since we do not store your files, local session memory is cleared as soon as you close your browser tab. For registered users, account data (email/name) is retained as long as your account is active. You may request full account and data deletion at any time by contacting our support team.
